Classeteria offers a unique and innovative learning experience for students in grades 6th through 12th. We prioritize the principle of choice, understanding the significance of individualized education, and aim to assist families in discovering the optimal educational path for their children's specific interests.
Unlike traditional education models, we do not adhere to a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, we provide project-based classes and programs tailored to accommodate diverse learning styles and career interests. To ensure that each student's unique learning needs are met, we offer learning style testing, allowing us to identify and cater to individual strengths and preferences and curriculum.
Our curriculum emphasizes the integration of life skills into projects, ensuring students acquire practical knowledge essential for success in various aspects of life. Additionally, we offer flexible enrollment options, ranging from limited part-time to full-time participation, allowing families to customize their educational experience according to their specific needs and preferences.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION - A word about Community Education and why it is important to our learning center. Community Education is a vital strategy for addressing the challenges of improving education at international, national, and local levels. It creates connections between home, school, and community.

Heather Anderson, a native of California, began her homeschooling journey in 2004, motivated by the lack of quality education in her rural town. Engaging and leading various community educational cooperatives, Heather eventually founded SHARE Homeschool Co-op from 2012 to 2018, connecting the community with each other and the California state charter schools.
Heather's passion for parental choice has driven her to provide every available resource for parents to succeed in homeschooling. She continues to achieve this by offering a variety of community classes and resources and creating opportunities for parents and children to connect.
As her journey progressed, Heather's initial inspiration evolved into a fervent passion for community-centered education and grew more defined towards middle school and high schoolers. This led her to establish Classeteria in Charleston, South Carolina, a non-profit organization all about choice and dedicated to providing innovative teaching methods, embracing diverse learning styles, and prioritizing community-based learning, all centered around providing choices for students.
