ABOUT Classeteria

Classeteria is a federally recognized educational 501(c)(3) tax exempt non profit organization created out of a passion for community and learning.  Classeteria is a community place for local educators, artists, and tutors to offer classes to the community for the purpose of enrichment of extra curricular education with an emphasis on hands-on project based and alternative ways of learning in home education. We offer convenient, affordable, and flexible "menu" of classes for students of all ages. We coordinate scheduling and bookings for a variety of class offerings from teachers and we are working on creating a permanent space for everyone. We are opening our new space in August, 2022 to be able to offer more educational resources.


In partnership with the Reforge Charleston and Citadel Mall, our vision is to cultivate a "homeschool hub" community to benefit Charleston area students who are learning independently. 


Classeteria has been able to launch in 2021/22 school year with gratitude by becoming grantee of Vela Educational Fund.

Location

Enrolled students will receive details on the exact classroom location for their class or workshop directly from the instructor. Any questions should be sent to the instructor directly (contact information located on the class description page).


Classeteria classes are located within the Citadel Mall in West Ashley, South Carolina. Citadel Mall is located at the intersection of Sam Rittenberg Blvd and I-526.
